For single blade reamers and fine boring tools according to the REAM-BECK System

Tool setting with micrometer accuracy – the most important pre-condition for the accurate and economic precision machining of bore holes. The Beck adjusting devices are available in both horizontal and vertical versions and facilitate precise yet simple adjustment of all Beck single blade reamers and fine boring tools. The tools are taken up between centers. The radius of the guide pads is proportional to the corresponding nominal bore diameter and can therefore be used as a reference point. The cutter is adjusted relative to the guide pads on the “pad to cutter allowance” principle. The width of the centres and the position of the dial gauges can be adjusted as required and therefore adapted to any tool length. They are also suitable for tapered tools.

The horizontal unit is recommended for complex, multiple stepped reamer tools. Here, a large number of dial gauges can be installed. The height of the centres should be determined in relation to the measurement to be taken. A dial gauge mount for axial adjustment is available as an optional extra.
